Sorry kids, Photos removed at the request of Warner Brothers.

My brother from another mother Pete over at Slashfilm has done his usual crazy amount of digging through the movie world-o-sphere on this fine evening, and has emerged super victorious, treating all of us to a bunch of wicked new photos from the upcoming Warner Brothers superhero movie The Dark Knight.

For those who have not yet heard of The Dark Knight, namely that .01% of our site that is an Amish guy in central Ohio inadvertently stumbling onto our site while researching butter churners at the county library, it is the follow-up to Christoper Nolan’s fan-pleasing Batman Begins. Christian Bale is back as Batman with a whole host of new supporting characters, including the late Heath Ledger (pictured above) as The Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, then later as Two-Face. If you need some reference material, I would direct you to the first trailer and the second trailer. Those should get you started.

For the rest of us, these new images are a mix of old and new. The new, a lot of which include more of The Joker, are pretty cool. The old… well, those are cool, too. As if you need another reason to be excited…

The Dark Knight hits theaters on July 18th. And since I am too lazy to resize and upload all of the pictures, you can head over to Slashfilm and check them out. (This also saves me time later when WB figures out that these are on the web, I won’t have to waste my energy taking them all back down.)
