Get Attacked by a Killer Tomato! And Get a Movie Role
Movie News By Neil Miller on August 4, 2008 | (2) Comments
That’s right, the cultural phenomenon that would ultimately propel George Clooney to stardom (in the sequel, of course), Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, is coming back. Then again, you already knew that it was coming back. In fact, we dished the news back in early March that Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine, the two fine chaps behind the infinitely popular Ask a Ninja web property, had signed on to remake the film with producer M. Dal Walton, who was previously responsible for remakes of Day of the Dead and Terror Train.
And now it appears that Kent and Doug are looking to include the fans in this production the best way they know how, with the use of YouTube. Announced over at KentNichols.com on Saturday was a contest where fans can submit videos to YouTube and possibly earn a role as an extra on the upcoming production.
All you have to do is watch the video below, which can also be found at www.youtube.com/realredmenace, follow the on-screen instructions and submit your own video response to the video entitled “I Got Killed by a Tomato!”
The contest ends at Midnight on August 24, 2008, so get to it, people. Will we be seeing you in the upcoming Killer Tomatoes remake? We sure hope so.
