‘Gentlemen Broncos’ Poster and Trailer Debut Details
Movie News By Neil Miller on August 12, 2009 | (3) Comments
Fox Searchlight just dropped a line into Reject HQ to give us a few sweet updates on Jared Hess’ upcoming film, Gentlemen Broncos. The film follows the story of Benjamin (Michael Angarano), a kid who is being home-schooled by his eccentric mother (Jennifer Coolidge). He’s a lovable loner whose passion for writing leads him to an offbeat and hilarious journey as his story first gets ripped off by a legendary fantasy novelist named Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement), and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by his small town’s most prolific homespun filmmaker.
As you might note, Gentlemen Broncos is opening Fantastic Fest 2009 here in Austin in late-September. So yes, I’m excited. As well, as a huge fan of Jemaine Clement’s work on Flight of the Conchords and a fan of Jared Hess’ work on Napoleon Dynamite, I’m very much looking forward to this one. And if you’re like me, you’ll want to pay attention to this next part.
According to our non-personalized note from Fox Searchlight, there is a new poster, a oncoming trailer debut and new photos coming soon. Check the deets:
- The trailer will debut on Apple.com tomorrow.
- The first few photos from the film go live on FoxSearchlight.com/GentlemenBroncos later this week.
- The new poster can be seen in glorious high resolution by clicking the image below.
