After a decade of marketing materials for The Dark Knight Rises, some excellent and some bland, the IMAX poster for Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming Batman movie finally reveals its true nature: epic and terrifyingly God-like.

No more hiding what it is, this poster is distilled hubris. The kind of one sheet that will slap you in the face and then sleep with a beloved family member.
