I don't think it's the fact people are getting tired of seeing Apatow and crew on the big screen, I think it's quite the contrary. I just think the tone and story of the movie didn't appeal to people. I mean I didn't know how a comedy that had death overshadowing it a lot was going to play out. Even as I talked with a few people when it let out they replied with "The movie was ok, I just went to see Seth and Jonah really" which I have to admit, I kinda did myself. Even most of my friends weren't to excited about the story, we just wanted to laugh at another Apatow flick because we love them. I'm not jumping on the "Apatow & Crew are growing stale" bandwagon. I just think he had a bad choice in movie. The movie wasn't that bad though. I liked it...I think? I don't agree really.
