“GI Joe” and “Transformers 2? will be huge. Men will go for Megan Fox, women will go for buff, ripped marines in very tight T shirts, couples, kids, teens. Enormous. Massive openings. Long lines. Toys up the ass and DVD and Bluray sales forever. Who cares if they even bothered to write a script? As a WGA member, I weep for the loss of quality scripts being produced (blockbusters used to be literate. The script for “Die Hard” fairly sparkles compared to today’s “Blockbusters”) but as a producer I find myself screaming “bigger, louder, longer!” Warm up my seat in hell for that.

Heh, I say when it gets close to release date we have everyone inundate Paramount with e-mail requests to have FSR be one of the first to screen it.

Sounds like a plan for the Global Integrated Joint Ops Entity! Apparently that is what GI Joe means now. Though perhaps I am being a bit harsh. The releasing studio is Paramount and they're actually really wonderful people to work with, so fingers crossed we get a look at this bad boy. And fingers crossed on the other hand it's a boatload of fun. =/

Hmm, Ok someone on the Forum has to have a contact with one of the toadies who are going to be invited to the prescreening if there happens to be one. First we track them done then we inundate them with requests to get one of our operatives in. Some that can blend without giving off those weird vibes…. that leaves out Kevin Carr….lol.

Tough to say. Summer movies with huge budgets are hard not to pre-screen – huge red flag. What they might do, though, is invite only certain outlets that have a history of being very "forgiving" of films. IE, "Quote whores," people that will declare it an "edge of your seat action thriller" just because they want their name on a commercial. We'll have to wait and see.

that cliche group shot of the Joes walking shoulder-to-shoulder is weeeeeaaaaak. they all look like they raided Michael Keaton's Batman costume closet and took some chest armor from there. just a bunch of rubberized s&m junkies. laughable. but the Baroness scores some points for the nice cleavage shot in the beginning. it almost makes up for it.

I knew this was going to happen. All those corny photos that were released are now seen cutting backflips and blowing up stuff and suddenly "it doesn't look too bad." Here's how this movie is going to go down: Everyone is going to see it, there will be a honeymoon brief honeymoon and then some will come back to their senses. This movie already sucks the same way that Wolverine already sucks. X-Men with no Sentinels = fail. Wolverine with X-Men movie residue = fail. G.I. Joe mixed with X-Men and Batman minus the G.I. Joe = fail. This movie has failed out of the gate. Don't fool yourselves.

I'm sure they weren't throwing money around…but this could be a rough trailer…the same way we saw with Incredible Hulk's teaser vs trailer…the effects could be beefed up I agree…it's months away so things can change
