From Sword and Sandals to Sleigh and Santa

The Hollywood Gang, the production company responsible for the film 300, has just recently optioned another graphic novel property according to The Hollywood Reporter. “The Last Christmas” is a graphic novel that was co-written by Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn. The comic is very cool, and how could it not be when it features Santa saving the world from zombies?
If you haven’t read the comic, you might want to check it out. This is the type of film that could catch like wildfire and become a instant cult classic. On the other hand, it could end up being like just another Death Bed: The Bed That Eats People. Knowing the quality of the source material, and Posehn’s humor I’m not too worried.
Another tidbit is that The Hollywood Gang is also in development of another Frank Miller property, “Ronin”. Be sure to keep us bookmarked as I’m sure we will be providing much more coverage on this exciting project.
