Frank Miller’s ‘Spirit’ is a Strong One

frankmiller01.jpgSuperhero Hype! is spreading nasty rumors about Frank Miller’s adaptation of Will Eisner’s The Spirit. And by nasty rumors I mean awesome news. Word on the street is Lionsgate is so digging what Frank Miller is doing with The Spirit that they’ve already signed him to helm two sequels and are predicting great box office success for this film come January 19th.

The Spirit will follow a masked crime fighter tracking down The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) and having to avoid a bevy of beautiful, dangerous women. Sounds a lot like my life, though my nemesis is called The Dingbag and the women in my life are crazy, though not entirely dangerous. Though when you’re a masked superhero and you’ve got a bunch of women trying to kill you but an equally large group trying to love you, hey man, life ain’t that bad.

This all star cast includes Gabriel Macht (The Spirit) flavor of the month Scarlett Johansson, super hottie Eva Mendes, Sarah Paulson, Paz Vega, beauty Jamie King, Dan Lauria, Stana Katic, Johnny Simmons and if that wasn’t enough one more for you – Louis Lombardi.
