I'm Aussie who absolutley loves this movie I even bought the extended edition before they released the film in theatres here but I always hated that no one ever ackowledged Robert Rodriguez's Or Frank Millers work on this and simply called it the 'new' Quinten Tarantino flick because of that one scene. They did the same thing with grindhouse releasing only Death Proof in cinemas

I just hope that Sin City 2 would still get made if The Spirit bombs. Because Sin City was one bad ass film that in no way would be hurt by a sequel.

Yeah, remember all the talk about kill bill "The Whole Bloody Affair" being released in Novmeber 07…how about his idea about making the Vicent Bros movie. He does it all the time. But hey, quality over quatity I suppose.

QT does that…pretty much for every film he's made since Jackie Brown. He talks really openly about he wants to do, but speaks as if the ball's already rolling when it's just an idea. We waited on Kill Bill for a few years. The Grindhouse stuff was "in the works" for a while before they actually got things set.

Hell, the guy has hyped up Inglorious Basterds for the past, what, 6 years now?
