I don't know about everyone else, but for me, I associate the MGM lion with the Bond films. I have to say the 20th Century Fox fanfare won't fit in as opening a Bond film. But ultimately, if Bond needs to look for financial support outside MGM, the main thing is that MGM and the lion remains part of it, even if there is an extra logo at the beginning of the film.

These are just distribution rights. If there is one thing Fox does, its puts movies out there on screens. This won't affect the consumer at all.

Sad day for MGM but I guess it could be worst. It's a good thing that Bond is in the hand of Broccoli and Wilson. I would fear for Bond if Fox was in charge creatively.
