Yep, everything Mark Wahlberg has been saying is true. It’s hard to believe a sequel to 2005′s Four Brothers is actually in the works. Do we really need it? Probably not, but it’s not a completely bad idea. Four Brothers is a pretty fun film, actually.

It was a nice welcome back for the “once-reliable” John Singleton.

Four Brothers was his followup to 2 Fast 2 Furious and if you’ve already forgotten that film, you’re not alone. Whether or not Singleton will be involved is still an unanswered question and unfortunately I wasn’t able to ask producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura about it. However, I did get him to confirm a script is in the works and Five Brothers is indeed real when I spoke to him at Comic-Con. Look for that forthcoming interview while you ponder the reality of a world where Five Brothers exists.

Can they get Andre 3000 again?
