When we first started covering the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s sensational novel, Twilight, less than a week ago, we definitely did not realize how much interest it was going to generate. We also didn’t realise exactly how many articles we gonna crop up as soon as we started monitoring it! We’re talking Iron Man, Dark Knight, Speed Racer levels of coverage, with new set visits, interviews and general tidbits hitting the wires every other day. We ourselves have only managed to do 5 articles about the saga since the 28th of April (not including this one). ONLY 5. It’s only the second of May! One article a day is not anything to sneeze at!
So, Twilighters, thanks to the guys over at Cinematical, prepare to be spoiled because here’s another one to add to your collection and a great way to start your day. Just for you (and all the other FSR readers out there, of course) we have the first official image of Twilight‘s core cast, looking smoldering and sexy, love struck and torn, plus lots of other great stuff. According to Cinematical, although other photos have been floating around the net for a while now, this is official, released from Summit Entertainment, the production company behind Twilight. For those of you who aren’t intimately familiar with the casting or the descriptions of the main characters, from left to right are:
Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen; Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen; Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan; Robert Pattinson as uber-hot vampire Edward Cullen; Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale; and Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale. I have to say, there’s certainly a lot of sparks flying from Bella to Edward, and doesn’t Edward look oh so hungry for something? The only problem is, what is it he’s hungering for?
Twilight hits US screens on December 12th.
