If you thought the first sizzle reel for Crank 2: High Voltage a few weeks back was awesome, wait until you see finished footage set to music. To put it simply, Crank 2 appears to be one of those movies that will have adrenaline junkies shitting themselves all over again. And for those like me, who enjoy a good sex scene or six, I have a feeling that it will deliver in spades. In brief, Jason Statham is back as Chev Chelios, the hired gun whose days are always numbered even though he will probably never die. Amy Smart, back and in the nude. Cory Haim is in the flick, which would mean nothing if we hadn’t seen his mulleted pics from the set. Ultimately though, fans can rejoice in the knowledge that the energy and sheer debauchery of the first film are back. Need some visual assistance? Check out the trailer below, courtesy of IGN.

Crank 2: High Voltage hits theaters on April 17, 2009.

  • 6th time I've seen this trailer and I still love it...
  • This is great because:

    1) There's no way a human heart would last more than a few hours outside of a body and
    2) I don't care.
  • Nevermind the fact that charging up the electrical box would fry him and leave his plastic heart to kick all that ass on its own. I am almost (eh. not really, mebbe just a little) ashamed at how much I want to see this film. Get the popcorn, the giant smurf blue slurpee, sit back and get blown away. I can't wait!
  • Another movie where you forget about it being completely ridiculous and unrealistic and sit back and enjoy the madness.

stupid film, but can't wait to see it.
statham's better when he doesn't take himself too seriously (and when he's british ;) ).
