We all know you clicked on this post because you’re a pervert. But not a dirty one – you’re the rare breed of totally respectable pervert that loves tree sex and Von Trier films. As a reward for being so well-rounded, we’re sharing this image from Lars Von Trier’s forthcoming flick Antichrist starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Get to it:

The real story here is how artistic that image looks. It’s gorgeous. The framing of the two figures against what looks like a centuries-old tree, the human limbs creeping out like a real world example of the painting hanging in John Milton’s office in The Devil’s Advocate, the overall Dante vibe of the whole thing.
The film is a horror film first and foremost – focusing on a couple who head to a cabin in the woods after their child dies. I’m seeing shades of every cabin in the woods horror film ever made mixed with a hint of Don’t Look Now and a huge serving of Trier’s surreal visual sensibility.
