Our friends over at the Russian site Kino-Govno.com have gotten their hands on a slue of great new shots from Vin Diesel’s upcoming film Babylon A.D. We haven’t seen much from this film, aside from a teaser poster back in late October. It’s hard to get really excited about the film, seeing as we have seen almost nothing about it, but it does have a pretty cool look to it so far.

Here is the synopsis from IMDB: “Veteran-turned-mercenary Thoorop (Diesel) takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to China. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.”

Diesel stars alongside Michelle Yeoh, Mélanie Thierry and Gérard Depardieu. Babylon A.D. is being directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, who directed Gothika. It opens in theaters on August 29, 2008. Take a look at the images below.
