As you all know, honesty is my policy when it comes to movies. So to be completely honest, I would almost rather ignore the currently in production rehash of the Street Fighter franchise, but for some reason I feel like people are getting excited about it. As well, I have a sort of crush on actress Moon Bloodgood, who appears in the first image from the film above, so this is as good a time as any to start paying attention.
The photo comes to us from Aaron over at StreetFighterMovie.net, a site dedicated to following the production and bringing us all the updates. Along with the picture above, Aaron also got his mitts on a storyboard sequence, which can be seen here. So far I am not sure what to make of this movie, so I suppose we will wait until we see more.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is being directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, who previously directed both Doom and Exit Wounds. Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk will star as Chun-Li, with Michael Clark Duncan in the role of Balrog, Chris Klein in the role of Nash, Neal McDonough in the role of General M. Bison and Robin Shou starring as Gen. Moon Bloodgood (above) plays Det. Maya Sunee, a character that is completely new to the Street Fighter universe. I would imagine that she is some sort of law enforcement agent…
