First Look: Mickey Rourke in 13 Tzameti Remake

Our friend and photo freak Christopher M. dropped me a line this morning with the following picture attached. This is apparently our first look at Mickey Rourke in 13, the upcoming remake of the 2005 French thriller 13 Tzameti. Director Géla Babluani, who wrote and directed the original, is back to adapt and direct the American remake, which will star Rourke, Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Ray Winstone and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The film tells the story of “a naive young man who assumes a dead man’s identity and finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence, and chance where men gamble behind closed doors on the lives of other men.”
13 is slated for release in 2010. Check out the first image of Mickey Rourke below.
