First Look: Jessica Biel the Stripper in ‘Powder Blue’
First Look By Neil Miller on December 9, 2008 | (18) Comments
I hate to be one of those guys who waters this one down to “the one with Jessica Biel as a stripper,” as Powder Blue might have something more to offer than just one of my favorite Jessicas in her naughty clothes, but how else was I going to get your attention? Hey guys look, Ray Liotta. Or better yet, check it out people, another movie that looks just like Crash. See my point?
Set in Los Angeles, Powder Blue follows the intersecting storys of four people from all walks of life (a mortician, an ex-con, a suicidal ex-priest and a stripper). They are all brought together of Christmas Eve by a mixed bag of happenstance. It stars the aforementioned Jessica Biel, Ray Liotta and Forest Whitaker. And judging by the image above, it also features Patrick Swayze looking uber-trashy. The only real question is when and where this film will ever see the light of day — certainly not at Sundance. It played at the American Film Market in November but there are no plans for further release. As I know you will all be very interested, I will certainly keep an eye on her, er, it.
