The fine folks at Paramount were gracious enough to send over an awesome first look image from the upcoming Iron Man commercial that will run around 4:30pm EST during Super Bowl XLII between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. This will accomplish two things: It will make those high school jocks-turned-armchair quarterbacks sit up and take notice of one of the summer’s biggest films and it will force the movie geeks that they used to beat up to watch a little football. I’d say it will help strike a healthy balance on both sides. But if you are like me and you were a jock who was a closet movie geek in high school, this is going to be just plain cool. I can imagine that Paramount paid a wicked amount for the spot, so we might as well watch it.
