First Look: Hugh Jackman on the Set of Wolverine
Movie News By Neil Miller on February 12, 2008 | Be the First To CommentA website called ReelCollectibles, based in New Zealand, has what we would suppose is the first look at Hugh Jackman on the set of the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine film that began shooting last week in Australia. Some voices around the web are saying that this could be Hugh in his full Wolvie gear, but I would tend to disagree. It appears to be two lucky SOBs who caught him walking around town and snapped a pic. Either that, or he is on set, chilling out with a few local collectors (who, oddly enough, have a pretty impressive set of pictures in their Hall of Fame). While this doesn’t appear to be Jackman in Logan-mode, at least we can see what he’s looking like these days. From here, he looks very fresh and vibrant — which works well, seeing as he is playing a younger version of his character than he did in the first 3 X-Men films.
At this point we are all keeping our fingers crossed for an action shot or two from the set, so stay tuned. Click the image below to see the bigger version.
