First Look: Frank Langella in Ron Howard’s Frost/Nixon

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 27, 2007

Some people out there quite excited about Frank Langella as Richard Nixon in Ron Howard’s next film, Frost/Nixon. Universal has dropped off a new photo from the film that shows Langella in full Dick Nixon garb. I have to say, I’m not familiar with the relationship between Richard Nixon and jet-setting TV personality David Frost (Michael Sheen, also pictured), I am intrigued. I can appreciate where movies like Bobby were not only entertaining, but also somewhat educational — for those of us youngsters.

Frost Nixon hits theaters sometime in 2008.

Josh says:

Bobby was one of the most poorly written screenplays of last year. That dialogue was not educational, it was phony phony phony. This could be interesting though, simply because Langella is great.

H. Stewart says:

Frost/Nixon was a good play, if Ron Howard doesn’t screw it up (very likely) it should make a fine film.
