Awsome. Rose McGowan will be awesome in the role. If the script is good it is sure to be a hit. These people who say she can't act, check out her performance in either Planet terror or 50 Dead Men Walking.

Your ALL stupid. She's not playing the original Sonja. She's the rencarnation of her, a humble girl who with Sonja's memories has to train to fight. Hence that she's not toned! She's playing a humble girl who comes from a background of not knowing how to fight at all! Research some more before you make yourself look like a tool and think you know ALL about Red Sonja, idiots!

thanks Jeremy M, you just made my day.

i am NOT looking forward to this at all. and with the exception of planet terror, she cant act her way out of a wet paper bag. rodriguez is one of my top 2 favorite directors (the other being tarantino) but sometimes, his choices are questionable. Since hes not directing, maybe now he can get to work on things people want, like sin city 2 and the DVD release of Machete, with the trailer for a sequel to Planet Terror, which i WILL see.

Sorry but Rose McGowan is not Red Sonja. Too old, not busty enough and not toned enough to be the Red Headed Battle Maiden. Also from the posters I can tell they weapons will not be accurate to the REH universe. They seem to forget that the universe that this character is set in is not traditional medieval weapons.
