First Look: 3 Musical Numbers from Sweeney Todd!

For those still wondering, they do actually sing in Tim Burton’s adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s musical. To prove that point, we have scored three great new clips from the movie. The first shows a little bit of Helena Bohnam Carter (Mrs. Lovett) and Johnny Depp (Sweeney Todd) as they plot out how they are going to make all of those meat pies. The second shows Todd, having returned to his home after years in prison, professing his love to his blade. And finally, the gem of them all is a little moment between Sweeney Todd and Signor Adolfo Pirelli, played by Sacha Baron Cohen. And yes, that Borat guy can hit the high notes. Take a look for yourself below.

“A Little Priest

“My Friend”

“The Contest”

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street hits theaters next Friday, December 21.
