First Image from The Expendables Includes Fireball, Naturally
First Look By Neil Miller on April 13, 2009 | (14) CommentsOur friends over at Ain’t It Cool News have revealed the first official photo (above, click the link to enlarge) from the production of Sylvester Stallone‘s highly anticipated actioner The Expendables this morning and by golly, doesn’t it look awesome. We don’t have much in the way of plot details, so the context here is light, but I can tell you that characters played by Eric Roberts and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will try to escape a large explosion by jumping off of a dock and into a body of water. Also, it will most likely be an exciting moment in what promises to be a pretty kick-ass movie. If you need proof of that, go back and watch Rambo again.
The Expendables is currently shooting in Brazil and is scheduled for an April 23, 2010 release date. Other cast members include Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Brittany Murphy and Charisma Carpenter.
