Final ‘Women in Trouble’ Poster Gets Some 70s Class

A few weeks ago we posted up some … experimental-looking … posters for the forthcoming film Women In Trouble. The consensus was that they looked great, but not necessarily like movie posters. And while we’re all for innovation and creativity around here, we’re also fans of simplifying things down to what looks good.

Luckily, that seems to be what the marketing team has done, taking a few of the ideas from the other posters and trimming them down to create something elegant, 70s-infused, and lingerie-heavy:

“We’re gonna need Carla Gugino in her underwear as the focal point.”

Yeah, you are. This is just great advertising to me. I dig the font style and the way the three colors are extended from the tagline through to the title. They found a way to put a lot into the page while saving some empty space. It doesn’t look cluttered. And, yes, I realize I’m geeking out over design instead of the beautiful women.

What do you think?
