Film School Rejects Joins the Crave Online Film Channel!

Reject Nation! Lend me your ears (cut to the scene from Robin Hood: Men in Tights where ears are thrown at the speaker.)
Here at Film School Rejects we have always tried to bring you the freshest, brightest voices in the world of entertainment journalism. Our mission is to bring you the unabashed reviews and editorials from the best writers on the web, all while sprinkling in some news here and there. Since the site’s inception in early 2006, we have seen phenomenal growth thanks to our talented writing staff and most of all you, our readers. And while we are constantly looking for ways to make your visits here at FSR better, we have always known that at some point we would need a little help.
Our help has arrived in the form of the fine folks at Crave Online. Today we are excited to announce that Film School Rejects has joined the Crave Online Film & TV Channel. We are pleased to be in the company of such fantastic sites as ComingSoon.net, Bloody-Disgusting.com, DVDFile.com, ShockTillYouDrop.com and SuperHeroHype.com. We hope to be able to add value to Crave’s already impressive line-up of sites, infusing the heart and soul of what it means to be a Reject into their network!
Of course, there will be questions. With that in mind, I have compiled a simple list of expected questions below.
What does this mean for us, the readers?
Our new affiliation with Crave Online has connected us with a very talented team of people, all of whom are now resources — resources that will help us continue to improve our user experience and deliver the best movie news, reviews and editorial content on the web. Also, as we begin to reach an even wider audience we hope to bring a new level of interactivity to the site. We want to bring more voices to our comment sections and our forthcoming Reject Nation Forum — because with more readers comes more voices, more discussion and more debate. And we do love us a good debate. As well, with continued growth will come more exclusive content, more awesome features and maybe, just maybe more killer freebies for all. And you do like freebies, do you not?
How about ads? Will there be more ads?
Crave will be helping us out with ads as well, that is true. We have to face it, someone has to pay the bills around here. But just because we will have ads on our site, that doesn’t mean it is a bad thing. In fact, in our case this is a great thing! You will begin to see ads on our site that are more relevant to our content. No more talking smiley faces, no more free iPods and no more ads for experimental medicines — we will be featuring promotions for movies, TV shows and other related items.
Are all of my favorite “Reject” writers going away?
Nope. Film School Rejects is still independently owned and operated. I maintain full creative (or in my case, non-creative) control of the site and every single writer will be hanging with us. Of course as we grow, we will continue to bring more and more fresh voices to the FSR team and hopefully bring your favorite writers to you on a more full time basis.
Hopefully that covers most of the questions that you may have about this fantastic new venture. Of course, if you do have any questions or concerns please feel free to leave them in the comment area below or drop me a line: neil@filmschoolrejects.com. I look forward to hearing what our readers think of our new developments!!
On a side note, I would also like to send some congratulations over to John Campea and his team at The Movie Blog who made a similar announcement today. We wish them all the best with their new parent company and we look forward to continuing to build the relationship between TMB and FSR! Congrats guys!

Why hookers? Why not coke? Then hookers…

Yes, yes… Lots of Coke and hookers… and chocolate syrup with mini marshmallows.

We can’t afford all that… Just coke and hookers for now.
