Fergie Drops Mad Beats for Sex and the City Theme
Movie News By Neil Miller on April 24, 2008 | (2) Comments
When “Sex and the City” first hit the airwaves of television, it was all the way back in 1998. What was the big musical sensation that year? Usher and his smooth, soft and silky album “My Way”. Since then, the world of pop music has grown a bit and has been reinvented over and over, so why shouldn’t the modernized Sex and the City movie go the way of today’s pop music, as well.
With that in mind, I would like to present to your the following song by Fergie, called “Labels or Love”, which is being reported by Empire as the new theme song for Sex and the City: The Movie. It’s catchy, but aren’t those girls a little old to be listening to Fergie? What, was Celine Dion not available? I don’t know, maybe SJP and company are trying to live the hipster lifestyle. Just thinking about it makes me want to curl up in the fetal position and listen to some John Mayer.
