This two movie thing is a complete marketing ploy in order to extend the pop culture phenomenon, and more importantly, to reign in more money from the masses in ticket sales and crappy merchandise and worthless memorabilia. This’ll give you HP hoarders more time to amass more novelty junk to fill your rooms and DVD collections with. Once the movies have been released and the craze is over, TW will proceed to re-release the series in a variety of overpriced box sets, “just in time for the holiday season”, of which you will, most certainly and enthusiastically eat up. And with drool running down the sides of your mouths you’ll be begging for more, more, more. Personally I’m not a fan of the HP literary canon, nor have I spent a single dime on a movie ticket to see the films in the theaters. Sorry, they just don’t do it for me.

I think they should so split the movie into 2 parts because that way big fans (like me) will have to wait and by the minute get more excited. Plus when they see the 7th movie they will be like “whats going to happen next?” And it will be like a little mystery and as they think about whats going to happen next they get more curious and excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The seventh book is much much too long. Keeping it all in one movie would not do the end of the series justice. Not only do they have to include the entirety of the final book, but they also have a whole lot to catch up on since they left a lot of crucial information out of the sixth book. Personally, I would have been happier if OotP and HBP had been split into two movies as well. Maybe not HBP, but definitely OotP. The book is nearly 900 pages!!

I believe that it should be kept as one movie but have an intermission in between 'parts'.
I would happily sit there and watch if there was a break inbetween.

no tottally disagree i think they should make it just like the rest of the other films … the way the endings of the movies leave that suspense in the fans and viewers faces .. keeps them wanting to come back. so i think they should make it the 7th and final movie and finally have harry come out on top like he's been trying to do the whole 6 years before.

November 2010 is too far away!! My anticipation is high, but when watching the final chapter it'll be a little sad too. All these years following the movie's it'll feel a lot like when I read the final pages of the seventh book.

i dont really know cuz when we see the 1st part of number 7 be would want to see part 2 and if they relese it like nomal we have to wait another year for part 2 and im 12 years old i want to watch number 7 so bad and number 6 not long came out so i will go nuts but if they do it would probley be better in a way

I really like Harry Potter and i think that all of them up too Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince were really good…i really like the books and i like all the titles, the books were really intresting, the movies are really good to but i would like to cee more fighting in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows because there weas not a lot off action goin on in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I dont think that splitting the last Harry Potter movie is a really good idea, i know that it may be really long but i would profere to cee it all at once and not i 2 parts. Thank you.

I have all the movies and all the books. I saw Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince the day it came out like I have done with the other movies. I don't think they should cut Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows in two parts just because it's long. I mean, look at Lord Of The Rings. Those movies are near 3.5 hours and they managed to keep one release. I mean it just seems a little dumb that they are going to cut the movie in two. That's just my opinion though.
