Exclusive: Vin Diesel Smacks Down This Summer’s Heroes

Vin Diesel in Babylon AD

To put it lightly, Vin Diesel would not appreciate being called a “bitch” in any forum. But to say that he “ain’t no bitch,” is in many ways a relative understatement. No matter what you have to say about the star of The Fast and the Furious, xXx and Knockaround Guys, he has had his fair share of badass roles.

And though he has done a few projects in the past few years that have been much different, including the abysmal Disney comedy The Pacifier and a somewhat critically acclaimed dramatic turn in Find Me Guilty, Diesel always knows to go back to the well. That said, he will be hitting your movie screens with a vengeance in Babylon A.D. on August 29th. Directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, who previously brought us Gothika, A.D. will feature Diesel as a mercenary hired to escort a woman from Russia to China. And as these things go, there is more to her story.

As I mentioned, the film doesn’t hit until the end of the month, but it appears that Vin has already started laying down punches. That is, if you count this little video below, which was sent over to us by FSR reader Evan. Have a look, and a laugh, for yourself below.

LOL!! That WAS BADASS!!! I love that "homemade" cartoon! Thanks FSR reader Evan. Vin Diesel is ok, as much I loved him in XXX, I don't find him as serious actor as everyone else. Between him and Jason Statham Vin diesel is the non-acrobatic, no kung-fu, douche-bag. As much I hear about him I have no care for him. The first time I see the Bab A.D. preview I knew it'll be an action renter flick. Vin Diesel show get another role, a bouncer for a night club.

You tell'em Vin, kick ass or get out of the way of those who can.

Reggie get a clue, anyone that thought xXx was a good film for Vin is not a true fan. Now if you quoted Chronicles of Riddick you would be taken seriously.

This was cool. I like Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh so I'm really hoping Babylon A.D. is pretty good.
  • Wow. I go on record as saying I might actually like to see Vin Diesel in Babylon A.D. He was not what worked in the Riddick movies where he may have gotten his start.
  • Hilarious!
