Exclusive: Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera Talk ‘Up’

For Pixar fans, another year of waiting is over as the latest feature film Up is released in theaters. Earlier this week, director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera sat down with a selection of the press and animation students at the University of Cincinnati to talk about the new film and the buzz at Pixar.

Fat Guys at the Movies co-host Kevin Carr was on hand to capture the event on videotape, with selections presented here for your amusement. Find out the inspiration for the film, its journey to the 3D screen and how many balloons it really takes to life a house in the air.

Up opens in Disney Digital 3D nationwide on May 29.
