Editor’s Log, Stardate 62805.4: Our own intrepid L.A. Editor Robert Fure recently beamed into a press event for the upcoming summer action film Star Trek, from director J.J. Abrams. While he was infiltrating this event, he found time to sit down with a few of the film’s stars. And over the course of the next few days, we will bring you these interviews in their full, video screen glory. Enjoy.

After watching Star Trek the night before being able to talk to the cast, I was totally rocked out by how awesome John Cho was as Sulu.  I was excited to see our pilot friend get out of the ship and whip some ass with a sword and score a laugh or two while he was at it.  Unlike some interviews, I was ready to roll with these two fine young gentlemen immediately, having met John Cho before at Comic Con.  Poor Anton Yelchin was feeling a bit under the weather but that didn’t stop him from answering my questions or battling me over Trek trivia and Orion Slave Girls.  Film School Rejects 1 – Anton Yelchin 2 Huge Blockbusters this summer.

  • I confess... I have a crush on Anton Yelchin, so this made my day at work ;-)

"what's the one question that's just killing you?" - John Cho- "uh...if Zulu has an immense craving for white castle?" still don't see him as the man who steers the boat...hope the movie changes my opinion about this acting choice.
