1. What happened to the lists?
2. I enjoyed them.
3. This is a small movie that the left and right are hyping way too much.
4. How much did Superhero Movie do? I should be right around there unless FOX promotes it 24/7. However there demo is older people that have not gone to the movies since John Wayne died.
5. I thought the trailer looked funny.
6. Moore is a douche it like O'Reilly started to believe that his poop did not stink.
7. I really wanted to make 10, dang.

This write-up is SOOOOOOO FUNNY!

It's as if this were the VERY FIRST E-V-A-H film made with "political" satire!

...only thing, folks...for decades it's come virtually 100% from the Leftist - ahem - "perspective" (see...it must be "propaganda" only when it comes from the Right...from what one reads...heh).

NOW, there are suddenly cloned-"Louis Renaults" everywhere, who are "shocked! SHOCKED!" at this film.

THIS FILM has LESS TO DO WITH RIDICULING MICHAEL MOORE than with RIDICULING AND HELPING TO DEFANG THE VIRAL AMERICA-HATRED promoted by far-too-many on the Left...with Mr. Moore being only one such bum.

Dave,

1. You got me there. Late at night. Tired. Drunk. Sun was in my eyes.
2. NOW, I finally understand why all the MSM (mainstream media) -- with a straight face -- state that, of COURSE there is no left-wing bias in their "journalism". It's just their live version of "e-sarcasm" and I'm just too much of an idiot to see it! (And all this time I just thought they considered us so stupid that we would believe anything they repeate often enough.)
3. Love how you call me an idiot without TECHNICALLY calling me an idiot. Linguistic gymnastics kinda like Slick Willie teaching us all the meaning of "parse" from years of trying to figure out what he said versus what was true.
4. "Intolerant Leftie" is still redundant. Here's a little rule of thumb: When you see a speaker on a campus getting shouted down and his speech drowned out by an unruly mob you can bet you're seeing a fine example of the "tolerance" of the left towards anyone to the right of Stalin. When was the last time you saw the College Republicans do that to an ultra-lib speaker (like their typical professor or almost anyone with an American newspaper or TV "reporter" gig).
5. So, yeah, I'll give you that intolerance can be found on the right as well as the left, but the right is made up of rank amateurs compared to the left, where intolerance has been raised to the level of a religion. I'll give you a dollar for every intolerant rightie if you'll give me a penny for every intolerant leftie.

Ken...

apparently does not pick up on e-sarcasm very well, even if it is slap-you-in-the-face blatant.

"BTW,
“Intolerant Leftie” is redundant."

now c'mon, there are clearly intolerant people on both sides, and it is clearly not everyone from either side. don't be an idiot.

**FOREST THROUGH THE TREE'S**

Maybe that's why you guys were film school drop outs. Did your teachers ever tell you that you couldn't see the forest through the trees?

The point of the movie is simple. America is not the bad guy that the left portrays it as. It points out how, for lack of a better word, stupid the left's idea's are. There's a scene in the movie where of couple of catholic priests hi-jack an airplane holding crosses as weapons. After all of the attack on the "Bible-Thumpers" and the "radical religious right" you would think this would be an easy connection to make. But maybe not...

The moral of the story (movie) is simple. The left are idiots for trying to reason that "radical christians" are more dangerous to our country than suicide bombers. It just doesn't make any sense at all. That's why in the movie there's a scene where two nuns get on a bus with explosives strapped to their chest. It just doesn't make any sense.

Could you see the Forest through the Trees? The movie is a spoof of a Christmas Carol, and instead of the Ghost of Christmas Past/Present/Future, you have George Washington, Gen. Patton, and JFK showing Michael Moore what the world would be like if America hadn't bothered to fight the wars we have fought.

Right or Left, noone likes war, but sometimes it is a necessary evil to make the world a better place. And I think history will view our current situation in Iraq in the same light as the Civil War and WWII. We were doing the right thing.

Maybe that’s why you guys were film school drop outs. Did your teachers ever tell you that you couldn’t see the forest through the trees?

The point of the movie is simple. America is not the bad guy that the left portrays it as. It points out how, for lack of a better word, stupid the left’s idea’s are. There’s a scene in the movie where of couple of catholic priests hi-jack an airplane holding crosses as weapons. After all of the attack on the “Bible-Thumpers” and the “radical religious right” you would think this would be an easy connection to make. But maybe not…

The moral of the story (movie) is simple. The left are idiots for trying to reason that “radical christians” are more dangerous to our country than suicide bombers. It just doesn’t make any sense at all. That’s why in the movie there’s a scene where two nuns get on a bus with explosives strapped to their chest. It just doesn’t make any sense.

Naw -- Ya think??

"another snuff film for Michelle Malkin to pleasure herself to."
"more propaganda from famously-right-wing Hollywood" (Add "Astonishingly Delerious" to "intolerant")

BTW,
"Intolerant Leftie" is redundant.

The trailer is meant to just hit the basic, slapstick humor and doesn’t expose much of the satire in the plot of the film - and yes, the film has a plot. (Not so subtly copied from Dickens, by the way.)

I’ve been following many of the comments all over the web and find it hilarious that the left is so offended. One comment asked if “librul commies” were ever slave owners and why this movie portrayed them as such. The answer is, yes, “libruls” were slave owners in the American past, just as conservatives were. And some would argue that “commies” are slave owners — or at least slave users — by definition.

For those of you so offended that you wish to leave the country on Opening Day (October 3rd), I encourage you to do so. And, please consider staying out of country until the movie’s run is complete, which probably will be sometime in mid-November.

Further protests by ignoring this year’s election would also be appreciated and respected!

1. The fact that Michael Moore can be satirized stresses his importance...
2. Lists are easy ways to replace actual composition of thoughtful responses...
3. Kelsey Grammer as Patton? Hehehehehe...
4. Bill O'Liely as Bill O'Liely... didn't anyone else want to play him? Not surprising.
5. Michael Moore is laughing his head off.
