Emily Browning Jumps to Take a ‘Sucker Punch’ From Zack Snyder
In Development By Neil Miller on March 30, 2009 | (2) Comments
A little research was required before writing this article, as I haven’t written much about actress Emily Browning since she played the wide-eyed little girl in Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. I needed to make sure that she was over the age of 18 before I made lewd comments about her, as it would otherwise feel wrong. Thankfully she’s 20, and simply looks young for her age — which is all the better.
According to EW’s Hollywood Insider, the decidedly sexy young Browning has been tapped to replace Amanda Seyfried in Zack Snyder’s next film Sucker Punch. As you may remember, Seyfried was forced to drop out of the project due to scheduling conflicts with her role in the HBO series Big Love. Browning will now play a young insane asylum inmate who loses herself in a fantasy world where she dreams about escaping with her fellow inmates. She joins a hot-gal cast that includes Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Evan Rachel Wood and Emma Stone.
And while I’ve abandoned any lewd comments that I may have set out to make prior to this article — because lets face it, Browning is damn cute so who would really want to say nasty things about her — I will admit, once again, that I am down for any film that includes a gallery of sexy ladies with guns. And I’m told that this movie will involve guns. So it’s a win for all of us.
What do you think about the replacement of Amanda Seyfried with Emily Browning?
