Eliza Dushku isn't the greatest actress in the world, but what she does amazingly well is kick-ass yet tormented babe, which is basically what the Black Widow is. Emily Blunt on the other hand looks like a light breeze would flatten her, and Johannsen has massive box office, but is wooden as a chair.

But guys. This is important. Dushku kicks a ridiculous amount of ass in Buffy as Faith… and judging by the first episode of Dollhouse, she will CONTINUE to kick a ridiculous amount of ass. Sure, she's not the GREATEST actress… but let's be honest. We all want to see her sexied up and Russianified as much as possibly, right? Do you think the general public will discuss the nuances of her acting? Nope… just how freakin' hot she is. (NOTE: Never ever ever see Soul Survivors.)

If you want to see Dushku in black leather go rewatch "Jay and Silent Bob Strikeback"! She does not have the chops to pull off the acting that Favreau and Co. have set with castings so far on Iron Man 2. Think about it, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke and Eliza Dushku? No way, just doesn't fit. I am still holding out hope that Blunt's handlers can figure out a way she can still star in both Gulliver's Travels and Iron Man. Take your hormones out of the desicion and it is clear is day. Dushku, should not be the Black Widow!

Wow, I didn't know Dushku was considered for MJ. She would have been a heck of a lot better.

I think people are hating on Dushku a lot, but I've always been a fan. She was especially great on Buffy. So I say give her a chance. She could do a phenomenal job.

yes I've seen all work except for 'Tru Callings' if that's what it's called. But I can see her doing this movie role. Maybe because I haven't seen her in movies lately but I don't disagree on her taking on the role. She has to go thru auditions to make it. Directors and Casting isn't easy you have to audition for the part. I don't say she has talent but just a mere calling out to fans and vote for her isn't just gonna give her the part.

I don't disagree on if Jack Black is a bad actor but he's one of those people whose a hit and miss kinda actor. I used to remember him as a nobody, actually I remember him being shot by Bruce Willis in 'The Jackal'. Now that's a good acting. Also Actors being contracted w/ their own studios like what you said about Emily w/ Fox Studios? That's not even a new news to some of us, back then you can't make a picture with other studios unless you have to be borrowed and pay a huge money to be on another studio's picture. Why can't all Studios be nice and just share.
