Shia LaBeouf is at the point right now where he could do no wrong, and his films carry about the same odds of being a blockbuster as me never getting to bed Jessica Alba. With last year’s hits Surf’s Up, Disturbia and Transformers LeBouf it is no surprise that he would have two promising films on the horizon. With already being cast in the new Indiana Jones flick he also has another film rounding out the summer, Eagle Eye.
Eagle Eye boasts an all-star cast of Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, Billy Bob Thornton, Michael Chiklis and LaBeouf. The film is being directed by D.J. Caruso and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The movie sounds pretty cool and I was definitely looking forward to it, but it looks like we will have to wait a bit longer. Originally slated for an August 8th release date, the film will now hot September 26th as to not conflict with Seth Rogan’s Pineapple Express August 8th release.
