Dragonballs Begin to Fly: Trailer Screencaps

Get out your Dragonballs, kids, it is time to see some screencaps from the upcoming trailer for the film Dragonball. And while these stills look fancy, there is no level of still-image fanciness that can make me in any way interested in this film. Below you will see Justin Chatwin as Goku, Chow Yun-Fat as Master Roshi and James Marsters as Lord Piccolo. Seeing these images does absolutely nothing for me, so hopefully you will get something out of the experience. Many fans could be upset by the fact that Lord Piccolo is not green, as he was in the cartoon, but that doesn’t phase me. Besides, who gives a flying testicle about the man’s skin tone?

Before we get to these screen shots, I would like to show you a brand new poster that hit the web via NerdOrama this morning. It shows hottie Emmy Rossum as Bulma:

Is there anyone else out there who thinks this movie is a terrible idea?

The first two photos look like something out of Power Rangers, and Piccolo looks
just awful. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs a Kamehameha in the
face.

I think its a bad idea, though I'll admit this looks about 10x cooler than I thought - though that doesn't mean all that much really. Looks like it will have a style along the lines of 300 in terms of the look/realism.

I still want to know if the fights will take 2 hours with 50 flash backs in between each punch or power up.

Emmas the only reason to even bootleg the movie. They make Goku look like a power ranger without the costume.A white guy? Thats Hollywood for u. It didnt work for Forbidden Kingdom so why this movie?! Anyone else think Piccolo looks like an infected vamp from Blade II??Although that looks more like Frieza than anyone else.

I liked the original series, but this just looks bad.
