I would have went to see this based on the teasers alone, but they amped it up a lot in that new trailer. I found it quite confusing, but that wasn't a bad thing, I still don't fully know what is going to happen in the film, but now I have a better idea.
Also it flipped the idea that the aliens were leaching off Earth, but really they were being kept against their will so that their weapons could be exploited.

Yes, I think so especially since its a producer like Peter Jackson. I liked King Kong and all of Lord of the Rings movies from him.

At the end of the day he is not the Director so you can't expect too much from him :p

But it's produced by Peter Jackson. I know nothing about how films are made, but do producers have a lot of say in the making of a film? Can they change things in the script?

Trailer looks great. Wasn't aware of the plotline involving a government agent who becomes infected with biotechnology and whatnot, which I gotta say sounds a little suspect, but the trailer looks damn good.

That looks completely different than what I was expecting! Freakin' Sweet! I am so down…I after seeing Blomkamp's directing style on his short films over on you tube a while back I had high hopes for this and it looks as though I would be disappointed.
