I can't wait…Boondock Saints is one of my all time favorite movies! I am hoping that the sequel will be worth the wait.

I think boondock saints shouldnt be tarnished by a sequel if it doesnt have the original cast. I love the first movie but i dont want the second one to go down in flames. And for all who say the first one sucks 1 why did you watch it and 2 its a cult classic and 3 its one of the top grossing dvds and movies of all time. Troy if your reading this please use the original cast they made the movie what it is. Anyway Boondock Saints Rules

I am very keen for the sequel. The film ended in such a way that the story needs to be taken further. I think that the amount of time between films can help the fact that it’s a sequel in that the film could stand on its own. Added to the fact that the original cast has returned many sequels kinda suck cos they’re a lame attempt to recreate the same chemistry but with different actors. Maybe it’ll be different this time. But like most sequels it could be a huge disappointment. But I guess we shall have to wait and see.

Am I the only one who thought the first movie sucked HARD? I kept hearing about it from friends and classmates for a long time and I thought the poster of the film looked cool. But then I actually took the time to rent this shit fest. Between the ridiculous slow motion upside shooting and william dafoe in drag (something that still gives me nightmares) I would pay good money to make sure this director NEVER MAKES a sequel. Not to mention I saw a preview of that documentary. The guy’s a bartender and should go back to making me a dry martini.

I just hope it’s good. Clifton Collins, Jr. is a good/underrated actor. I hope he’s a bad guy. Love the Saints and I’m hoping for the best, but sequels are tricky business. Don’t fuck it up, Duffy!

Doesn’t really hold up in multiple viewings? It doesn’t hold up from the jump off the balcony to 5 stories down, but that doesn’t mean it’s not an awesome flick.

I have wanted a sequel for a while, but the more I think about it, I am unsure. I will see it, buy it, support it, but won’t have high expectations. Let’s hope it has some good symbology.
