yes the director's cut will be on both Blu Ray and DVD..although you might want to wait for the Ultimate Cut..since it will have Black Freighter included in the film

I think it is a mistake to include Black Freighter into the film. The story slowed down my reading of the comic and it may slow down the film as well.

I actually would like to see the extra 25 minutes and feel it can complete the movie more. Blu-Ray is best for this because I will need a good 15 minute breather in the middle. Never been big into watching the movie over and over with various versions and what not, just want to watch it again once.
