I really liked it too (Millions)
don't know if it was released in the states though, since I'm not from the states. but I think that once a movie is released online there is more chance to come across it.

Did anyone else notice if Latika's scar was on the wrong side of her face when she was driving the car? I think it started on the left side of her face, moved to the right when she was driving through Mumbai, and then ended up on the left again at the end of the movie. And where is it in the picture above? I may have to see this movie twice just to figure this out.

The Beach ftw, but Trainspotting holds a special place as well. Why is the Beach so
underrated? It's hardly mentioned in articles about DB.

I wasn't sure what to think of this, but I trust Boyle and feel he will at least make this an interesting film, if nothing else.

As for my favorite Boyle film, it's either sunshine or 28 Days Later. I loved both of those films.

Sunshine was a brilliant film trapped in a mediocre film. The score and some of the visual elements tied together in a way that I personally felt was a new high for cinema. The major flaw for me was the portrayal of the stress such responsibility would impair - which I found hallow and unrealistic in patches.

Still, my wife hated it - i loved it and still watch snapshots from time to time.

Slumdog seems like the type of film Boyle could make entertaining in his sleep so should be a fun couple of hours.
