Daniel Craig, Jamie Bell, and Tintin Discover the Secret of the Unicorn
Casting Couch By Cole Abaius on January 26, 2009 | (19) Comments
I have no idea what the Secret of the Unicorn is. If I did, it would probably be known as the Well-Known Fact of the Unicorn because I’m usually the last one to know about mythical equestrian trivia. However, I do know who Steven Spielberg is.
We’ve had a ton of news on the Tintin project, and today we can report via ComingSoon that production on The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn has started with Jamie Bell as Tintin – the famous reporter – and Daniel Craig in a lead role as Red Rackham – a pirate who attacks a ship called, you guessed it, The Unicorn. A ship with, you guessed it, some sort of secret.
Just as a refresher: Spielberg is directing the first installment with production partner Peter Jackson helming the sequel. The films will be done by Mo-Cap in 3D, co-starring Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
And yes, I realize that with my previous news about Ninja Assassin, today has officially become Pirates v. Ninjas day around here.
Go Team Pirate.
What do you think? Looking forward to Tintin coming to the big screen?
