Dane Cook is ‘Dead Already’

Posted by Cole Abaius (cole.abaius@filmschoolrejects.com) on January 17, 2008

Audiences are getting too old for this shit.

In other news, Dane Cook, fan favorite of most of the editors on this site, has his sights set on being the next witty-yet-hard-assed-action-hero-cop. Am I making this up? I wish I was.

Opinions aside, MTV’s Movie Blog has a solid amount of quotes from the comedian-cum-actor describing his next project as a twist on the buddy cop genre with equal amounts dramatic tension and wackiness.

The film, named Dead Already, is only one of the projects in the chute for Cook. Luckily, the name could also be used to describe his sense of humor, his popularity and, hopefully, its own box office revenue.

First he steals jokes, now he’s steal movie scripts! (Dane, I don’t think we’ve forgot about Hot Fuzz just yet.)
