‘Crank 2′ Images Provide High Voltage Action, Bare Skin

Our good friend Christopher M. hit us once again this weekend with another round of pictures for a somewhat highly anticipated movie, Crank 2: High Voltage. Recently we showed you the film’s redband sizzle reel (since removed) and the first official trailer, both of which showed off some of the film’s wild action. As a fan of the first Crank — purely on a shallow, adrenaline junkie level — I will admit to being a little excited about the prospects of round two. If there is anything that directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor know how to deliver, it is energy and mayhem. And you all know how much we here at FSR love it when those two things meet in cinematic matrimony. It makes for a fun ride.
For more fun, check out the gallery of photos below. Crank 2: High Voltage is scheduled to hit theaters on April 17, 2009. In addition to Statham, it also stars Amy Smart, Dwight Yoakam, Bai Ling, Corey Haim and Efren Ramirez.
