Columbus Rejects: Get Acquainted with ‘The Duchess’

The Duchess Advance Screening

Here at FSR HQ, we like to think of ourselves as being very fabulous. In the world of “Geek Chic,” we’ve got fashion on lock-down. T-Shirt from our favorite film festival, khaki cargo shorts and white tennis shoes with black socks — who could argue with the appeal of that. But while we consider ourselves to be pretty hip, none of us come close to The Duchess of Devonshire, the character played by Keira Knightley in her new film, aptly named The Duchess. In her day, she was always the center of attention — much like our own Kevin Carr. Only, I doubt she had her own gravitational pull as the reason.

Anyhoo, we would like to send a bunch of our Columbus area readers to see The Duchess on October 1, free of tyranny and free of charge. In order to be one of these “free” folks, all you have to do is head down to Video Central at the address below and pick up one of the passes with our logo on it.

Video Central
1299 Bethel Road
Columbus, Ohio 43220

Then, once you have the pass you will gain entry to the following advance screening of The Duchess:

Wednesday, October 1st at 7:30 p.m.
AMC Lennox 24
777 Kinnear Road

You are going to want to get on this in the near-future, as there are only so many passes and they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. For more information on The Duchess, visit the film’s official website. Also, for more information about local events and to keep track of all of our sponsored local screenings, head on over to FSR’s Official Facebook Group.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing this but unfortunately Columbus is a little far to drive from Louisville for a free movie.
