Allow me, for a moment, to editorialize this one. The film looks great, overall. And as one would expect from Kevin Smith, there seems to be a good mix of tasteful bathroom humor and social relevancy. But I do sometimes worry about Kevin in his old age, and the possibility of him pushing too hard for humor, thus ruining the characters of this great saga. But then again, he is coming off writing Jersey Girl, which I felt was his best story yet. Clerks II still looks like it should bring back fond memories and deliver great laughs on the expense of the over the counter culture.
