Ive been waiting quite a while for this movie and i think it will be good, But i cant picture John C. Reilly as Mrs Crepsley.As Bashful said you should probably read the (Darren Shan) books before the movie because they do cut alot out!And if you did read the books you would agree that it idoesnt (seem a bit standard with a dash of opportunity for cool designs) Well thats at least in my opinion!And Darren Shan is a Brilliant writter hes my favorite writers since i was a kid!Ow ye and Willem Dafoe is playing a vampire called Gavner Purl in the film and just so you know hes the actor for the Green Goblin in Spider-Man 2.Ow ye its coming on Oct 23 in 2009 Freak_Lover, But this articul is good over all !:)

I've been waiting for this movie for 3 years. I read all of his (Darren Shan) books. Hes an amazing writer. And just wanted to inform you that you should probably read the books before you watch the movie. Most movies take out big details from the books so you probably wont get bits and pieces, especially since there doing 3 books.
