Christian Bale Admits to ‘Potty Mouth’ on LA Radio

Los Angeles radio listeners to the popular morning show Kevin & Bean on KROQ 106.7 Los Angeles got a special treat when Christian Bale telephoned in to speak with the guys about the release of his recorded tantrum on the
set of Terminator: Salvation.
The actor owned up to having a “potty mouth” and said that no one should worry about him and that he’ll behave. In all seriousness, Bale acted every bit the responsible adult he is and owned up completely to making an embarrassing mistake. He said there should be no confusion what so ever, I was out of order beyond belief… I acted like a punk… I make no excuses for it, it is inexcusable.
Bale went on to say that he was somewhat uncomfortable with the notion of being a movie star and the pressures that come along with it. As for the threats of Terminating the DP, he expresses that those statements were all hot air and that he didn’t want anyone fired. He continued to work with Shane Hurlburt for several hours that day and at least another month of filming afterwards, insisting they’ve put it all behind them. Christian also addressed a few stories that said the confrontation was going to get physical. He denied, saying Shane was no little Orphan Annie and that he was a big guy, someone he wouldn’t be interested in tussling with.
So there you have it, Christian Bale responds in a public forum about his recorded tantrum and apologizes. He sounds like a reasonable bloke, though perhaps you should have a listen for yourself.
