The following clip — from the upcoming sci-fi flick Push from director Paul McGuigan — is being called the ‘telekinetic gun fight.’ In truth it is more of a telekinetic beat down scene, in which one character takes a beating from two other characters who also possess cool powers. As I’ve said many times before, Push appears to be the movie version of what Heroes fans would have loved to see from their show in season three, but were aptly denied. Lots of action, powers being put to use in ways both diabolical and heroic and plenty of wicked bad guys. Bad guys played by Djimon Hounsou, who is bad ass.

Push hits theaters February 6, 2009. Check out the new clip below, courtesy of Rotten Tomatoes.
