Nice to see the general film review folk wandering into the 3D forums. The new pelting tools for 3D modeling have really opened the doors for some great work. Now we need Rick to show an animation blend of the 2 models - man to beast.

Obvously, that was the look they wanted. Rick Baker has shown several times that he is more than capable of creating an original wolfman concept. I would go out on a limb and say the director probably was shooting for a throw back to the original. Of course anyone who knows Rick knows he loves all the old monster movie designs and it would not be hard to convince him to do another. But that seems to be the mode that Hollywood is in these days. Nothing new, just spew out remakes of everything that was ever popular with the hopes that it will somehow draw the same crowd to see it again for nostalgia's sake if nothing else.

Its nice to see a callback to the original film. These look like nice models and cant wait to see the movie released. benicio was a good choice for the part. Did anyone read The Wolfman by Nicholas Pekearo? Just did it recently and its a good read.

Give me a break. It's not that interesting nor is it even that good of a design in terms of originality. It is very similar to the original look of The Wolfman, so we're not seeing anything new. It's like someone just modeled Lon Chaney Jr. So if you're a fan of that, great. If not, who cares? Why isn't his chest hairy? So lycanthropy is actually just an aggressive beard and big teeth? This movie will probably eat it. The best looking Werewolves of all time are a toss up between Bad Moon and Dog Soldiers, edge to Dog Soldiers, in my awesome opinion.

Nice.. i think 3D would be the best way. Although the transformation in American Werewolf in London is up there as one of the best on screen.

If anything stole nominations it was Slumdog Millionaire which was very good but yet not deserving of all the Oscar buzz it received. Frost/Nixon, at least in my mind, was a quality movie in the least.

Benecio! He rules. Good to see him in something again. I feel like it has been forever. I've heard good and bad this about Che so hopefully this will bring him back to form. Also, AKW with the script = sweet.

The artwork is pretty cool, but I'm still not excited about the movie. I predict a generic, boring, and tame film.
