Charlize Theron Dumps ‘The Tourist,’ Angelina Jolie Steps In
Movie News By Neil Miller on October 12, 2009 | (3) Comments
Look out Sam Worthington, it appears as if the hot women in Hollywood are fighting to star alongside you.
Worthington is slated to play the lead male role in The Tourist, an American remake of the 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer. The story centers on an American tourist who, on behalf of Interpol, goes undercover to entrap a former lover who’s a suspected global criminal.
But who will play the former lover who is suspected of being a global criminal?
Previously, Charlize Theron was attached. Now, according to the Risky Biz Blog, Theron has opted out of the Spyglass-produced thriller. In talks to replace her is Angelina Jolie. Now, we could spend some time debating the physical characteristics of both Theron and Jolie — anything from Angelina’s lips and how they compare to Charlize’s legs to how their respective nude scenes stack up — but we’re not going to do that here, folks. We’re a reputable publication, and we won’t stoop.
That said, I feel like Angelina Jolie is losing some her luster lately. Charlize looked smokin’ hot in Hancock.
What say you, masses?
